Overview

Long's Vietnamese Kitchen, nestled along the bustling SW Tualatin Valley Highway in Aloha, Oregon, presents a refined take on traditional Vietnamese fare. The restaurant strikes a balance between authenticity and modern dining, making it a compelling destination for both casual diners and those who appreciate culinary depth.

The space itself is inviting and thoughtfully designed. Walking in, guests are greeted by a clean, spacious interior accentuated by striking decor, including an impressive dragon mural that adds a touch of cultural elegance. The ambiance strikes a harmonious note between cozy and upscale, a setting that suits families, friends, and food enthusiasts alike.

Long’s menu offers a well-curated selection of Vietnamese staples and specialty dishes that showcase the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine. Signature items such as the Banh Mi, Com Tam Suon Trung (S3 Pork Chop with Broken Rice), and Luc Lac Beef reflect the kitchen's skill in balancing textures and bold flavors. The dishes display a strong emphasis on quality ingredients and traditional techniques—tender, well-seasoned proteins paired with fragrant herbs and delicate pickled accompaniments. Vermicelli dishes like the Roasted Pork Belly Vermicelli and Lemongrass Chicken with Vermicelli Noodles demonstrate a mastery in combining fresh components with vibrant, aromatic sauces, capturing the essence of home-style Vietnamese cooking.

Customer experiences consistently highlight the generous portion sizes and thoughtful execution of classic favorites. The pho, a cornerstone of Vietnamese cuisine, draws particular praise for its rich, flavorful broth that carries a comforting depth realized through a slow-simmering process. While it might not claim title as the best pho in the region, it excels with its balance of warmth and complexity. The Shaken Beef (Luc Lac) stands out with its tender cuts and perfectly proportioned sauce, complemented in memorable fashion when paired with a fried egg, enhancing texture and richness.

Appetizers such as Lobster Wontons and the sampler platters provide ideal starts to the meal, combining crispy textures with delicate seafood flavors. Salads, including shrimp and tofu variants, bring a fresh, light contrast with housemade vinaigrettes that showcase attention to detail. The inclusion of drink options like Thai Tea offers a sweet counterpoint to the savory menu items, rounding out the culinary experience.

Long's Vietnamese Kitchen appeals especially to those seeking a dependable neighborhood spot that blends quality with comfort. It's a place where food truck fans can enjoy an elevated sit-down experience, and newcomers can explore Vietnamese flavors in a refined atmosphere. The attentive, welcoming staff and timely service contribute to a dining experience that feels both personal and polished.

We got the Beef Pho Combo (with all the meats!) and the grilled pork with vermicelli noodles. The packaging of each dish was nice and secure and they surely do not skimp on the portions! While it’s not the best pho I’ve had in the area, I did appreciate the piping hot soup and its deep flavors. The grilled pork was also seasoned well and tender with not-too-fatty cuts. The sauce and the pickled veggies brought it all together with sweet and sour vibes. I am only speaking about my takeout experience but I am hoping to make it into the store soon!

So glad they open a small restaurant! Already been a loyal customer at their food truck. Inside was very clean and had a giant dragon painting which my kids loved. The staff were very welcoming & interactive. The food came out in a timely manner and of course was delicious like always! Will continue to come support them!

I've have been here a couple times this month now and am impressed with how their pho tastes. The broth is clean and full of flavor. The portion size is generous along with the protein provided. I tried their lemongrass beef soup as well (BBH, but with just beef) and enjoyed that as well. I really liked the flavor of the broth. They didn't have the traditional sides that would go with the lemongrass beef soup, but im okay with that. My second visit, I tried their broken rice plate and that was good. The pork was seasoned well. The service both times were attentive and friendly. The interior is spacious and clean. Its a place worth checking out.

We've been following them since their food cart days in the garage food pod, so we are glad to see them in a permanent location here. They made the place feel very clean and chic like walking into a hotel banquet hall with the eye-catching chandeliers and majestic 龍 dragon art display. We enjoyed the the seafood yakisoba's wok hei flavor and the beef pho's broth with the comforting depth of flavor that takes hours to bring out . We could customize with the hoisin and chili paste condiments to our liking. The waterfall fried chicken (COM GA XOI MO) is also pretty good, the sauce is what realy wowed me and its the very satisfying 5 spice type. BANH MI HEO - Pork Sandwich really tasty, big filling of pork, jalapeno was nice in small amounts flavor!

This is our new favorite “go to” dinner spot in the area. I got the Shaken Beef special with a fried egg side. The flavor is phenomenal, it’s the perfect amount of sauce and the beef was tender and easy to bite through - seems like higher quality beef than typical for the price point, and as you can see from the picture it is a decent portion of protein. I “broke” the egg over my rice and mixed it in, which I will be doing every time now. This area has been in desperate need of a dinner spot that absolutely nails it, and Long’s nails it. 10/10, would recommend.

Very authentic vietnamese food - on par with Garden Grove little Saigon. Good portion and reasonable price. They're running a soft opening promo this week. Place isn't big, about 8 booths but very comfortable seats and great lighting for taking pictures. The salad rolls are gigantic, i think wrist size The Grilled meat has great flavor, very well seasoned. The water fall chicken with fried rice was good, not dry, but the sauce was a little too sweet. Shaking beef was very tender and again, well seasoned (i think they use beef tenderloin, which market price's expensive, but the plate is only $20, very good value). I love that they give a lot of salad for each plate. There's not a sign or name in the front of the restaurant so it was a bit hard to find, we walked pass it twice before seeing it. They're newly opened so google map photo isn't updated, it's right next to Pyzano. Service was very friendly and attentive

Amazing! Was recommended to me by a friend who's family is from Vietnam so I had to try it. We had the salad rolls, calamari, and noodles with char sui. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned great. The staff is so kind and attentive with the whole place being absolutely gorgeous as well. You can really tell the owner's love their restaurant. Well definitely be back to try more!

The food was good. I think the taste is definitely on a bit of a sweeter side.Chicken wings is a must try, crispy skin and juicy meat. The beef broth hit the spot just right especially on a rainy day.
